What is spyware?
Spyware is a malicious type of software designed to spy on other peoples data. They perform acts like detecting passwords, user ids, search habits, browser history, etc. The use of information such as passwords is obvious but search habits for example is different. It can be used to tailor adware specifically to the user making him or her more inclined to purchase a particular product. This also makes the information valuable.
What is adware?
Adware is malicious software that spam the infected computer with different kinds of ads in the hope that the user will purchase different products.
What are computer viruses?
A computer virus is a general term describing the behavior of lots of malicious software. The software is capable of spreading itself over the internet and through e-mails and thereby act like a real virus hence the name.
What is a trojan virus?
A trojan virus is a computer virus that infects a computer by disguising itself so it either appears to the user as a harmless program or a part of the operating system.
